You have set up a very attractive, well written invitation to explore many possibilities for couples experiencing a wide range of difficulties. A particularly important ingredient is evidence of your many years of experience. Bravo Jill!

Dear Jill,
What a wonderful, insightful blog!
I had some alone time this morning to read many sections, and could not have found it more true. I look forward to continuing to get these great “tidbits” of wisdom to ponder as I remind myself to remain aware and present in my marriage.
Thank you!

Dear Beth,

I am so glad that we bumped into each other at the play, and that you had a moment to view the blog. You are in the center of the family building phase when couples can get lost in loving and caring for everyone else but each other.

You little girl, who is clearly not “little”, is adorable. Enjoy all and again, thank you thank you.

Women think they can change the men they want to marry. Check out the “Guys and Dolls” song “Marry the Man Today”. And philanderers are practiced seducers, experts in the field.

What we Edelman girls learned from Broadway musicals could fill many blogs. My favorite of your applied Broadway psychology is still: “You’ve Got To Be Taught”…South Pacific. Keep those lyrical insights coming Letty Jane. Mucho appreciated.

I love your website, very insightful and encouraging. Here I sit in Redding wondering where I went wrong, what did I do wrong. Maybe, you can’t change men, but what if they changed from the man you married to someone at times you don’t know who he is. I guess I need to give you a call. Talk to you soon.

  jilledelmanlcsw wrote @

Kelly, I like how you worded your concerns. I would be happy to talk with you anytime. Thank you for your interest.

Although i haven’t been a “couple” for quite a few years I so appreciate reading your blogs, Jill, many of which still pertain in the aftermath of divorce- especially if young kids are involved. we remain reluctantly attached if we’re trying to do our kids right, and the issue’s just change. i should give you a call- think of you whenever i receive this. thanks for keeping me in the loop Jilly. And how about South Pacific’s “I’m Gonna Wash that Man Right Out of My Hair”? sorry, how immature; couldn’t resist.

  jilledelmanlcsw wrote @

Suzen, humor is never immature! I too associate so much of life’s process to Rodgers and Hammerstein! And endless source of wisdom and wit.

Thank you and miss you too.
